After mocking the media for so long, Sarah has shown that she will willingly abandon her principles to become one of them, as long as CASH is involved.
The nice thing about this is that Sarah will have more and more opportunities to demonstrate how entirely vapid she is. This show could be her downfall.
Now, if she buckles down and works hard, and studies the issues and the biographies of her guests, this could be her big chance to take part in the world of adults.
However, I predict that she will fail at this, and call the criticism she receives, “gotcha journalism”. She will likely quit halfway through the expected number of episodes. She always has the Discovery Channel, and their 1 million dollars per episode to fall back on. Her time at Fox will be brief, but entertaining.
Sarah Palin will host “Real American Stories,” a Fox News special debuting on Thursday.
For the premiere episode, which will air at 10PM, the show will include guests ranging from entertainers LL Cool J and Toby Keith to former GE CEO Jack Welch and a Marine Medal of Honor recipient.
The episode will pre-empt “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” and re-air Sunday night at 9PM.
Palin, a Fox News contributor, has been a ratings hit for the network (not that it needs any help: the network is coming off its most successful quarter ever).
