Although we would like to believe that health care opponents are just misinformed, and that they just mistakenly believe the lies that are tossed their way by their authoritarian leaders, there is something troubling about the continued racist tone to the protests.

I know… Although it seemed like his presidency (and I’m using that word loosely) would never end, it is finally in the past. Can you imagine him holding up under the constant pressure that Barack Obama has had to face? And none of Barack Obama’s problems are self-inflicted. They are left-over problems from the Bush era of Wild West deregulation of everything and trying to fatten up...

Bush’s reign as President that the Democrats were so ineffectual as an opposition party because of the hyper-aggressive stances by the GOP that allowed no room for Democrats to influence the debate, we have now seen what the Democrats do when they hold all the cards.

This should be a far-fetched fantasy or joke with the Supreme Court ruling as the punch line.
But, now, the biggest change in our country has taken place with barely a whimper, with no shots fired, and the media amazingly silent about this.
It’s as if ten 9/11 attacks happened, and no one reported on it.
Perhaps our new masters will be benevolent. Perhaps they won’t. Either way, we are theirs,...
